Ms. Black practices in the areas of real property and commercial litigation, consumer class actions, and labor and employment law.
At the University of Connecticut, she received her bachelor of arts degree with honors in 1994 and her masters degree two years later.
In 2002, Ms. Black earned her law degree from Hastings College of the Law, University of California, in San Francisco, where she was awarded the Blum Scholarship three years in a row. She was admitted to the State Bar of Massachusetts in 2002 and the State Bar of California the following year.
Ms. Black has been a member of the Board of Directors for the General Assistance Advocacy Project of U.C. Hastings since 2000. She is also a member of the Bar Association of San Francisco.
Ms. Black was born in Springfield, Massachusetts, on September 6, 1972.
