Ms. Aleks joined the firm in August 2008. She practices in the areas of antitrust, class action, commercial litigation, non-profit, and real property.
In 2003, Ms. Aleks graduated summa cum laude from Middlebury College in Vermont.
Three years later, she earned her law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where she served as an editor of Hastings Race and Poverty Law Journal. She also received CALI awards in Legal Writing & Research, Bioethics & Law, Comparative Constitutional Law, Law & Morality, and the Criminal Law Clinic.
Focusing on public law, Ms. Aleks completed a masters degree in political science at the University of California, Berkeley, in 2008.
Ms. Aleks is a member of the American Bar Association, the San Francisco County Bar Association, and the American Constitution Society.
Ms. Aleks was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1981.
