Biography
Stacey C. Quan is an associate with Steyer Lowenthal Boodrookas Alvarez and Smith LLP. She has seven years of experience representing businesses and individuals in a variety of litigation matters, with a focus on high-exposure traumatic personal injury, premises liability, habitability, and wrongful death cases. Ms. Quan has successfully represented litigants and was integral in obtaining defense jury verdicts in a wrongful death case in Alameda County and products liability case in Kern County. She also second chaired a bad faith bench trial that resulted in favor of the client insurance company in the Eastern District of California. She has also obtained favorable judgments for her business and public entity clients through motions for summary judgment.
Education
Ms. Quan earned her law degree from the University of California, Hastings (2011) where she served as a senior production editor of the Hastings Law Journal and president of the Vietnamese American Law Society. She received her B.A. in Economics from Reed College (2008), and studied Chinese language at East China Normal University in Shanghai, China.
