Mr. Alvarez practices in the areas of commercial litigation, real property, title insurance, consumer class actions, and civil appeals.
After receiving his bachelor of arts degree from University of San Francisco, he attended University of California, Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall), where he earned his law degree in 1989.
Mr. Alvarez was admitted to the State Bar of California (member sections on litigation and real property) in 1989.
He is a member of the Bar Association of San Francisco, the San Francisco La Raza Lawyers Association, and the California Land Title Association. Mr. Alvarez also has been a member of the Saint Brendan’s Parish Advisory Board in San Francisco since 2003, serving as board president since 2005.

in Los Angeles on April 1, 1964.
