Biography
Danping Li’s practice involves commercial litigation concerning construction, real property, and title insurance and escrow law. While in law school, Ms. Li served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Noël Wise of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, where she researched complex civil matters and drafted bench memoranda and court orders. She also gained experience in commercial litigation, appellate, and regulatory matters as a summer associate at large and boutique law firms in New York and Washington, D.C. Before coming to the United States to continue her legal education and practice, Ms. Li served as in-house legal counsel at an investment company in China.
Education
Ms. Li received her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law in 2026. While at Berkeley Law, she served as an editor of the Berkeley Technology Law Journal and worked for the East Bay Community Law Center’s Immigration Clinic.
Ms. Li earned her LL.M. from Emory University School of Law in 2022. She also received a Master of Laws in Civil and Commercial Law from Renmin University of China in 2021 and an LL.B. in Civil and Commercial Law from East China University of Political Science and Law in 2019.
About
Ms. Li was born and raised in China and is a native Mandarin speaker. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her cat, Coco.
